Hey Folks. My name is JayC, and I'm active on both the MIG Forum and the Email List.
I've volunteered to build and maintain the MIG Support List.
This is an emergency contact list for MIGs when traveling. Once you sign up and are approved,
I will email you a Support list.
Must Read:
If you are caught using this list for any other purpose,
such as sales, bulk emailing, or sending spam, you will not only be removed from the list,
but possibly locked out from the MIG Forum and/or email list. Don't use the list except for what it is intended.

Joining the List:
Send an email to me, JayC. The following may be copied & pasted into the email.
- First & last name
- MIG #
- Forum name (N/A if from email list)
- City, State
- Email address
- Contact phone number
The following may be answered by Y or N:
- Roadside Assistance
- Truck or Trailer
- Tools
- Bike Storage
- Mechanical Help
- Local info & Trip planning
These items require a bit more than a Y or N. Some possible answers are provided.
- Sleeping Quarters
(Yes means that you might be able to provide a bed, floor or tent space with advance planning)
(Emergency means you might be able provide the same under emergency conditions)
(Motel means that you might be able to provide info and/or transportation to same)
- Availability
(24 hrs? Lv msg? MIG text? Daytime only?)
The responses listed for Local Info and Sleeping Quarters may allow contacting a MIG before a trip.
They might even offer to join up for a ride, lunch or some evening entertainment during your trip.
Everything else is for emergency use.
Receiving the List:
Each month, you'll receive a new list. The list will be sent as an email with a .xls document attached. You can open it in
Microsoft Excel, Quattro Pro, or download a free spreadsheet program at Openoffice.org.
If there are no updates, you'll still receive an email, but no attachment.
The basic idea of this list is for you to print it out (if you use Landscape, it fits on one page for now)
and keep it in a safe, dry and convenient place for your trip.
If you have an emergency, use the list! That's what it's there for. If you can't get anyone, as a last resort,
call me 24x7 (I am #1 on the list). I will try to find someone to help you. But please do not call me for directions.
I AM NOT Onstar, Google, Garmin, or TomTom!!! Just enjoy the ride trying to find your way. But if you get lost and then
run out of gas...
